In a recent survey by the IBM Institute for Business Value and Oxford Economics found made a startling discovery that lack of innovation was the sole reason behind the failure of 90% of Indian start-ups. Gone are the old days of simple classroom teaching and this is high time to bring practical education out in the field. The best thing about DIY electronic projects is that even if you don’t know much behind the theory, with easy to follow guidelines you will have a working project in your hand within no time. A friend of mine started this hobby a few years back out of curiosity and with his initial success he started his own electronics supplier company after a few years from enough saving and an unprecedented sense of motivation through his newly found hobby.
Now coming back to the basics, what is an electronic circuit?
To explain plainly, this consists of a PCB or printed circuit board layered with various components and a predefined connection is established through soldering and by the use of wires. In DIY electronic projects, you will have a working model with you within no time.
- Rain Alarm
This is a super cool and relatively simple circuit to alert the user when it is going to rain. This comes in handy when it is going to rain alerting you to run outside and pick up washed clothes let out to dry. The alarm works when current flows through the circuit enabling the activation of transistors which in turn triggers the alarm. This is quite easy to make and long lasting
- Digital LED Clock with Temperature & Light Control
This is quick and easy to solder to form a cool LED clock which has separate panels for temperature display and not to mention the Light control. The crystal clear blue light will be a treat to your eyes at night creating the perfect ambience for relaxing in the silent night.
- Home alert system
This gadget could solve the problem when people come to your home while you are not around. Made out of Raspberry Pi and Arduino, this instantaneously sends a notification to your cell phone in case if someone comes to your home. On the other hand, this helps to add an additional security to your home
- E-book library
The coolness Raspberry Pi is that it is almost a computer in your pockets.
With Raspberry Pi you can create your own mobile e-book library. It is convenient and easy to share with others. This can also surprisingly turn into a Wifi hotspot that others can connect to
- Ball tracking Robot
You might have often seen this if you had a chance to visit any science fair. Human operators can easily be distracted but machines cannot be. The same design can be modified to detect unwanted moving things. In automated surveying, object tracking plays a crucial role and Raspberry Pi works like charm in any circuit.
